Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團

I picked up a bottle of Siraya Blu for my Photon S after running out of Elegoo Grey and have found the quality to be amazing. The one thing that I haven't really figured out is how long it's supposed to cure for - the 28mm minis that I print remain noticeably tacky after being in the UV curing box for 6 minutes. All of my AnyCubic Green and Elegoo Grey prints weren't tacky after 4 minutes of curing.

Roughly how long should I expect to cure Siraya Blu?

Photon S Settings:

Bottom Layers: 8

Exposure: 9

Bottom Exposure: 70

Off-time: 0

Every town, and every adventure in a town, should have a crappy stablehand NPC to un-tack and feed and stable your horses for the night. And shovel manure. Also, if you need someone to die in a Goblin raid, or get eaten by giant rats invading the barn, or get swallowed up by some burrowing creature that enters the farm, well, this guy is up for it!! And, even better, if you have a fancy barded warhorse for him to take care of before he gets killed, he will have a night of happiness before he gets offed. models from: https://www.patreon.com/castnplay/overview 翻譯年糕

Sunday morning comparison of prints. Can you tell which was 0.02 vs 0.05? 4 hours difference in print time.

Hello everyone,

My Photon is on its way and I am looking for recommendations for best value for money resin brands.

Also, has anyone tried the Esun bio resin? Is it any good?

Thanks.

What causes these lines?

This was printed at an angle and the lines are parallel to the build plate. I thought it was z-wobble but after a bit more searching it seems not?

The frustrating thing is I just printed another version of this object that is essentially the same (some very very minor changes) and it came out nice and smooth with no lines. Sometimes I get these lines, other times not. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello again everyone. I'm in need a slicer, currently using Chitubox, that is going to keep the scaling consistent. I just sized a mini to 69mm in the Chitubox (with scaling ratio locked) positioned it, went into supports, came out of supports and suddenly he is 73.37mm in height. This isn't because of the Z lift height, I removed supports thinking maybe it was adding the Z lift height, and it was still 73.37mm. I added another model and the previous model upped to 83.46mm.

So are there other slicers others can recommend which do a better job scaling and keeping it accurate and unchanging by itself?

Many thanks in advance.

A question raised in the other photon group, but I thought it worth sharing to everyone. These are my observations and I welcome your thoughts.

How little resin do you need?

conversely I also asked how much resin is too much?

After measuring carefully, if your resin vat is perfectly spirit bubble level, that you need a minimum of it looks to be 17ml of resin so that it covers the entire of the FEP.

So 20 ml looks to be a safe number to use as a minimum. that is to say: 20ml plus your build volume.

I also checked the maximum, and with the bed in the first layer position, 100ml is as much as you would want to go with. That is just below the first metal joint on the build plate.

so if you're doing a big model, (more than 80ml) you will need to top up the resin level once things have got going.

That's the problem with clear resin, even I have experience the same best way you can use color tints its a small 5 or 10 ml bottle

Does anyone here have experience with disabling the internal fan on the Photon? I read somewhere that there's a gcode file that can be sent (somehow) to disable it, and that it's only used for fume extraction from the build area and not for cooling of any kind. Can anyone comment on their own experience?
