Hi everyone, thanks for the add! I've been watching the prices of the Photon for a while and it seems now they are very affordable for the quality of printing they can do! Before I pull the trigger, are there any go-to resources to help a complete novice learn the ropes and get started?

I also have some general questions for the group if it's not too much trouble:

1. How time consuming is this hobby?
2. Is it ok to set up the printer in a garage that gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter?
3. As someone who is a miniature painter and wargamer first and foremost, how much effort does it take to do basic prints like movement trays and objective markers etc.? Are there resources where you can get files that you know will have a high rate of success?
4. Is it viable to sell 3d printed stuff to make a little extra money?

Compilation of Photon Network Controller with Mono working on Debian.
The tools must be set to v12 and the framework 4.6. we need to do some fixes since we can connect, downlaod a file, refresh but upload is failing

I swung by IKEA over the weekend and picked up a few things for my Photon.

$.99 funnels and a $1.99 tray. The tray is short enough to fit under the photon half way if you raise the leveling feet a couple turns. Of course you can use it however you want.

Photon-Stops printing after 1st layer and reboots continued. This happened 3 times tonight. Submitted a ticket to AC. Took the STL file and sliced it with AC Slicer and it is working. I have been using Chitubox. One thing I have noticed is that the Chitubox slicer files are much larger in size??? This file that is printing now is 27k, the Chitu file size was 109k???? Using the latest version of Chit....Maybe it is time to go back to 1.4 chitu........
