Newbie here. Just ordered a photon. Pretty amped up! Give me all those recommendations as to where, whats, and hows! Resins, ipa, Mods, anything that will help. Where to buy from ie. amazon, ebay. Thanks in advance. Very excited to try out resin printing. End results look fantastic. Trying to learn from everyone’s mistakes and hit the ground running! I Have a Prusa so not entirely new to 3D printing.

Having an issue with only half my UV screen working. Is this fixable?

First print on the new photon. I managed to not break anything, but my print had some issues. There was some resin film on the print and in the vat, the bottom of the cube broke, and there is a slight layer shift on the base. Any ideas from these pics? I used Flint Read method to level and default settings for the sample print. Room temp was 26 - 27c.

new problem - getting started

so I installed the slicer from the USB, 64 edition.

When I open the slicer I see a rectangular box with a grid
When I open the test file 'photon' the test model does not appear in the rectangular/grid but opens in an all new screen called LCD and appears as a green disc.
If I go back to the rectangular it says - no file selected - but if I open 'photon' file again its the LCD again.

what do I do to get the testresult in the program?

Does anybody here have the exe file for Chitubox 1.4? I can't find it anywhere online. I updated to the newer one (1.5) but I don't like it, it doesn't add supports where I need them. I keep clicking the areas where I know it's needed and it does nothing, is there a bug in it? I know on the previous it would let me do it at that same location.

Hey guys, I have ordered a photon and done a fair amount of research. I have quite a few noob questions though and was wondering if there is someone out there that would talk to me through dm? I don't want to spam your page with things so think it would be better to just talk one on one.

Hi guys, is it possible that an UV flashlight can go throught the resin of a small model and cure the inside resin in case there is some stuck? It is not semitransparent, its opaque but the walls are very thin.

New Photon user question. I printed the lattice cube that came on the included flash drive without any issues for my first print with the included green resin. I then decided to try my hand at a different print and ive now tried printing it twice and when its done the build plate has nothing on it. Im not sure what to do or what im doing wrong.

Im using ChituBox and im using the .05 settings taken from the Photonsters community settings.
