Preliminary test prints of a figurine prototype. Standing approximately 17cm tall, I learned a lot and made changes from this first run that I have incorporated into larger 20cm versions that are currently (slowly) printing. I will hopefully post .stls of the larger versions after another successful print run (knock wood).

I printed out a stormtrooper helmet from MyMiniFactory. However, on all of my models, the print gets this weird texture on the back near where supports were connected to the print. Any I dea on how to fix this so that I don't need a lot of post processing/cleanup?

I am having some difficulty and could use some guidance. I just got my photon setup and am trying to run the resin cal from the github group.

When I try to execute the test mode gcode, I get a M-400 memory error. Same for the print mode gcode.

I can run the 50u 2-20 sec photon file, but it is failing. The base layers come out fine, but is blank after that. There is something stuck to the fep, but not much and not legible.

I am using a bottle of Anycubic basig grey that was opened about 6 months ago, it was tightly capped, but probably settled some. I have previously used this bottle of resin on a Wanhao D7+ and got great prints @25u with 65s base and 7.25s layers after that.

Is there something that I am missing? I've tried with a few different sandisk thumb drives, they get a different m- error and will not work. I am having slightly better luck with a thumb drive that looks identical to the orig for the photon, but came with the D7 plus.

Hello Photon friends,

Everything was going great until the other day. I started to see this weird thin layer under the support bases. Also supports that had printed just fine started to separate at the connection point. No changes to chitubox settings that have worked for a while. Confirmed the build plate is also still nice and level. Video of screen test. You can see striations toward the right, but i dont remember if those were there before. Thoughts?

So I can hear the layers audibly pulling from the FEP. Is this a problem? My model does have siginificant surface area and I'm printing directly to the bed. I just replaced the FEP (350 mhz), tightened up the arm and leveled that bed using the paper method

Estimados, me he vuelto a encontrar con el amor a la impresion3D, debo decirles que en mis 4 años imprimiendo en 3D habia perdido un poco las ganas de imprimir.
