Having problems with my photon s, I’ve bought a new lcd screen but not fitted it yet, anycubic support are sending a new main board , does anyone know if this is likely to be the lcd at fault?, on 1st pic that black thing on the right of the rectangle has only appeared today.

Hey team, looking at this what would you change? If anything ? (First successful ish print, trying to squeeze the best out of my photon) the only bit I'm remotely unhappy with is the back- the cross beams seemed to peel off? Maybe not exposed enough? This is probably 40%AC Green and 60%ELEGOO Grey.

Anyone else have the problem that Photon Validator 2.0 sometimes doesn't process past a certain layer? For example, this photon file will not calculate beyond layer 1000. I have tried re-slicing and re-saving but the result was the same. I've had a look at layer 1000 and the surrounding layers but I don't see anything out of the ordinary, nor has my computer's RAM or CPU usage increase while calculating this layer. Not sure what to try next

Excuse me if someone has already mention. Saw on Reddit something about Anycubic resin cheap on eBay. There are multiples of these listing. Obvious the price is coming down bigly. $30 for 1 liter shipped for orange. Others are higher.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong, I have been trying to level this since 6 am and I have noticed my touch screen in kinda wonky and I am not able to hit the "yes" confirmation button when it asks to set z=0. Could that be it?

Ok guys I'm sorry for being boring but somebody else had a problem with calibration Flint method? My Z simply cannot go enough down to make the plate stiff enough like Ive seen on the video. The Z overturns and nothing happens...Please advice.

My first attempt with cast able resin. Can't wait to see how it does in casting. Printed at .025mm layer thickness, 8 layer base, 50 second base and 10 second layers. 3 rings in all took about 5 hours to run. Ultrasonic rinse in IPA then UV cured for about 15 minutes.

Here is a WW stromberg carby I designed in sketchup and want to try to get it printing at it's best on the photon. Using the small supports seems to fail, but medium works. Printing level wont work at all as I have detail on the bottom of the carb as well. So I have it angled at 30 degrees. I am running into problems with loss of detail on the areas at the base (closest to the plate), as well as the 'thickness' others have mentioned in this area. These pics show a print at 1/10 and 1/25 scale.

Though I am happy it is a passable result, I would like to get the best detail possible using Monocure rapid grey. Sliced at .01 with exp set at 6sec, 5 base layers at 60sec, with 1 sec light off time. would anyone be able to recommend what areas I can tweak this in order to best improve output?

If all else fails I will end up molding and casting the thing in resin, but would rather be able to reliably print them instead. Oh also I printed 3 of the 1/25 scale in the same batch, all 3 came out with different amounts of detail loss on the base area closest to the plate. Reasons this could happen?
