Is there currently an issue with the chitubox website? I've been trying to register but the page has been bugging out consistently. Doesn't react to anything being clicked and doesn't load completely. Tried it with several different browsers. anyone else having that problem?

Working on a drive gear for a skate project and Somehow my object was scaled up by the Any cubic Slicer and printed massive ? . Exported my STL set to mm in shapr 3D. Perhaps anycubic slicer imported at cm instead.
Double checked my measurements in model.
I thought it was suspiciously large coming off the plate. ?

Prints are a massive improvement after learning from the great advice I’ve found here! (Vent holes, printing at angle, resin stats etc).
Noticed the gooey end of one print and a weird “stepped” effect at my second print. Any idea what could be causing them?

Hi Guys,
I'm currently having trouble to print because nothing stick ont the plate, after searching a bit it appear that it's simply because the 0 point isn't well set.
The problem is : i did the calibration to the 0 point ten times, but even then , when it's begining to print, it begin to print with the plate 1,5 mm too high , looks like it don't want to accept the new 0 configuration :/
Doest any of you have an idea how to resolve that or maybie already had the problem ?

[FIXED!!!]

Hi guys.

I have a question about the ever-popular 'smart USB mod'.

When I upload files from the USB side I do not seem to be able to view them from across the network until I power cycle the device.
Is there a solution to this, I.E: getting the SMB server to update its contents while running rather than just at startup as it appears to be now?

SOLUTION:

In the USB_Share.py
You need to change the bit where it says something along the lines of 'piusb.bin' to 'photon.bin'.

I also had a hyphen instead of an underscore in the startup script section.

(Modified the value 30 to 5 to speed up the rate at which it checks if the files are steady too!)

Finally had a decent print... until I discovered that the area with supports is still kinda “gooey”. Should I sand it off or just UV it until it’s hard before sanding/ finishing it?

Hi everybody ! I need your help my photon ( original ) won't print anymore ? ? ? brand new photon received last week and everything was ok untill yesterday ... so here is the issue : the photon start to print the first layer and once printed it try to peel it off like usual ...
the printer start to lift the build plate then after less than 1s a "bip" and z axis stop moving( the motor was not able to peel it ) and print continue w/ no motor runing !!! even after canceling the failled print the motor won't move anymore untill reboot !!!! after reboot motor work again and i can lift it up to peel the first layer ... and restart cleaning everything ...

some extra infos : Photon firmware v4.2.17 used the fanoff.gcode some days ago Slice made w/ last version of ANYCUBIC Photon Slice and ChiTuBox ( tested w/ 2 computers ) fat32 formated sandisk usb stick ( same issue w/ photon usb stick ) anycubic green @ .05 thickness, 8 exp, bottom exp 50, 8 bottom layers full clean ( vat + plate ) after each failed print level is ok all print were perfect before yesterday ( I also releveled after the issue appears ) tested a print w/o the vat ( no resin ) it's running ok
