I seem to be having issues reaching the true z=0. Now i didn't really notice it, or rather thought not much of it since i didn't notice it was an issue. Either way as far as i can tell the solution is to install a spacer on the buildplate.

However ever since i changed my first fep after about 4 months of use,i never seemed to get 100% fail proof prints. On top i now also seem to have this ''i'm running out of space'' issue when the buildplate moves up, depending on where it was when the previous print ended. (Not shown on the video though, it's hard to replicate and with the first video i was making i managed to forget to press film. *Facepalm*)

However, the issue with moving up and making that noice only started recently.
Any clues what could be causing this?

Any help is much appreciated!

I'm trying to learn what could have caused this print to fail. It's a 28mm nashorn tank,angled at 45°. I also tried to print it angled at 45°and 5° sideways but it still failed. What amazes me is the lack of support in the middle.the entire print was hollowed with multiple large holes added to the bottom.
Any suggestions?i'm currently printing out a solid and hollowed version in 1-100 to see if i can learn from those prints. Still it would suck to print the whole tank as a solid at 28mm

Has anyone else noticed the volume calculations on chitubox to be off? I filled the tray to the midline,which should be about 115ml and just had a 70ml build fail on me due to running out of resin?

going to try and print a WW2 ship in 1:56 scale. This thing is huge, and will use a lot of resin, so I'd like to know peoples opinion before I start actually printing it!
Attached are the pieces and how i'll print them. the orientation is 90degrees to the printing bed so it isn't optimal, but it's the only way to make this thing fit.
Would it print?

So i just went through my first 500ml bottle of elegoo grey and only managed to get about 240g of printed models,of which about half are fails.not a succes rate i'm overly happy with but i'm still getting the hang on my machine so the succes rate will rise (hopefully). However,even with no fails that means i'm wasting about 50% of my resin! How are all of you saving your resin after a print? Letting it drip at an angle for a couple of hours?

Another noob question, my print started to come loose during printing as you can see on the picture. Is that due to the weight of the model,or should i be looking at my print settings?
I also don't understand how i got that gap
