im using 99.9% isopropanol in an ultrasonic cleaner and ive gone to use it today and its really cloudy, i assume due to the resin in it, still ok to use? needs replacing or filtering or?

Magnetic stirrer vs sonic cleaner? I thought the magnetic stirrer would be the way to go but all of my prints sink to the bottom of my beaker and they knock the magnet out of its position when I turn it on. Are sonic cleaners worth the money? I heard they can damage prints. Also how often do you guys change out your alcohol? Thanks...

Well after buying a Photon secondhand I've only finally managed to get a print off it :-) (although I've only tried a few times.. lol) My problem was it would print a good few layers then come unstuck from the build plate. :(

I know it's probably not recommended but I took some sandpaper and scuffed up the underside. What I did find was the edges were high.. anyway my lad now has a tiny spiderman bust and a happy dad.. lol

Hi all
My sump ran out of resin in the dead of night! ?
I have the Basic Anycubic Photon. I am using the standard slicing software.
The quality of my print is not blowing me away unfortunately (so I’m probably doing something wrong). It’s at 0.02 layer height, 8 sec on 2 sec off. Any advice to smooth would be appreciated.

Hi, new photon owner, i have couple of issues. First the test cube printed perfect but on a small skull a have bad surface, layers look shifted, like waves and also where the support meets the part there are small dents like a golf ball. I’m attaching some pictures, also it is normal to have small flakes of resin (soft but not liquid)on the part? Thank you!

Replaced screen and glass protector, put in new FEP. Try #2 on third print, a week after try #1. BUT I hear the click of the FEP, so I think I'm good!

The Walking flesh from Duncan Louca , printed by my fiancé Chris Visser and painted by me.

Base coated with army painter Barbarian flesh, then given a glaze wash with citadel bloodletter. Once dried, dry brushed various layers with citadel paints Chadian fleshtone, kislev flesh, ushabti stone and flayed one flesh. Finally I used Tamiya clear red to add some blood to various parts.
