Help. Ive been using this printer without fail. All year

As soon as i adjusted the layer thickness ive been having problems such as

-Only successful print had weird waves when i used 0.01 layer

-Printer would fail half way through saying use new usb stick

-I cant zero the machine and adjust it with the paper the plate always stops 4mm from lcd screen. Cant save new position

? i want to falcon punch this thing

Either this is openly admitting that I am addicted to 3D printing or I'm about to pee my pants from excitement that I'm going to kitbash my own model! Well... they told me if I kept doing this to myself the day would come I'd have no other models to build with my own.
Once I started realizing I was generating so much scrap before I throw it away I might as well fiddle about with my rocket parts and see what happens when I throw some glue and paint into the mix.

What's the best way to get supports off without leaving what scratches where I used my nippers I'm guessing either be more careful or use tweezers

I had issue removing my vat this morning. Because of suction, it seems the protective glass (and possibly LCD screen) became detached from the bottom of the machine on the left side. What should I do to fix this?
