Can anyone with more experience using PrusaSlicer tell me why I'm getting point to point supports that don't actually generate the pillar?

For those with experience printing many small parts with Siraya BLU. I've been having good luck with larger items but running into an issue with smaller items.

These were supported using modified Large support settings in ChituBox(1mm contact diameter, .30mm depth, cone shape. Pretty big!)

I've printed the below about a dozen times in Anycubic Green at .02. No problems, all 30 helmets turn out gorgeous.

Printing the same with BLU, I'm noticing that the helmets around the outer row remain stuck to the FEP while the helmets inside of that outer box of helmets print just fine. I'm guessing this has to do with BLU being generally way more awesome at sticking to things combined with lesser peel force as you near the edges of the plate, but I'm not sure how to mitigate it.

Settings used with the BLU are heating to around 27c, .02 layer @ 10s 8 bottom layers @ 40s. I have decided to try the EPAX "Non FEP vat film" as some folks are telling me that it's pretty slick(no pun intended!) but it won't arrive for a week or so. I have resliced with the models clumped closer to the center of the plate, but I'm expecting similar results. Since really dialing in my Support settings in CtB, I haven't had issues of this sort with other resins.

That said, the pieces that are turning out in BLU are fantastic!

Nevermind the fact that I mis-supported the tail end of Gjallarhorn, but I love Siraya BLU! I can barely break these pieces! Anycubic Green would have snapped easily.

Thank you for the model and tips, Vinicius. I may modify your design to allow for the huge power port I am using, but your new supported version printed wonderfully.

Help!

Running into an issue suddenly that sounds somewhat like something in the known issues FAQ: "Z motor stops moving mid-print, LCD keeps exposing resin, no error message, stopping print and moving Z via menu works."

Basically I start any print and the Z axis works normally. When it gets to layer 2 or 3, the Z axis just stops functioning and the LCD keeps on displaying layers as it normally would without any movement. Generally speaking, the build plate is still submerged in the resin, where the last successful layer was prior to Z movement stopping. This happens even on files that I know have been "good slices"(as in, I've printed many times before).

If I cancel the print, Tools>Move Z will not respond. If I power cycle the printer, I can then use Tools>Move Z to move the plate up.

Things I've tried so far:

-Updating firmware to newest
-Eeprom reset
-Reformatting USB (using my own USB)
-Using a different USB
-Reslicing files

Anyone run into something like this and found a way to fix? I also sent an email to Anycubic but figured I'd check here while I wait. Thank you, Photonsters!

I've noticed this twice now. Needle like hole running straight through how the model was oriented vertically.

I hope this is ok with the group rules. After talking to a few people, and noticing that there are many of us in here using the Photon to print models specifically for use in versions of the old "Epic 40k" game, I've created a "subgroup" on Facebook for us to chat about the game, share files that we're using to print, and show off our work from initial print to final paint.

Just had an interesting first time problem.

Loaded up a larger file(about 6 hours print time, can't post a photo from phone just now). Printer cures first base layer, raises bed, lowers bed, and then crashes and reboots itself with bed in the resin.

I'll try reslicing in a bit just in case, but anyone run into this?
