Got chance to try out the photon today, I got a bottle of B3DP resin, its a Philippines made resin so its easier to get in country here then in other resins..

One of the big thigs they had going for them was advertised that the resin at low odor and would not stink up office or home. Well after initial delays and errors getting the printer setup and working correctly I did the first test print of a model I am working on of the HS-15 North Korean ICBM transporter TEL at 1/144 scale.

These were the initial test results. printed at 0.05 layer thickness.

I completed the sagrada-familia project.

I installed hollow and dig holes by mesh- mixer and installed supports by chitubox and B9creator.
The B9creator works well with the support of a very fine overhang (star, cross).

Thin, wide and flat pieces were rotated by 10 to 15 degrees by mesh- mixer. Outputting horizontally may cause the platform to fall during output.

I printed out all five pieces and completed the entire model with adhesive.

The color will be painted slowly.

STL name is 'sagrada-familia-complete-barcelona'

Bit of a random one, I have a 3D model I need printed it is a very large stone set pendant. I don’t need it printed in a castable resin as it is for a sample piece for a client. Photon File Validator is really very helpful for detecting unsupported islands on objects and the main reason there are very few failed prints (at least for me). However I'd like to know what methods other vendors (like Form, Moai, etc) are using to detect and correct this kind of problem. Do they have correction methods implemented in their slicers? If they don't, I'd expect to see a lot of failed prints, as it is very easy to overlook a small unsupported island.

How strong (wattage) of a hair dryer do I need to dislodge supports?

Also, I’m planing to clean the ball joint of my build plate as it was twisting durning printing last time. What all should I do to it while it’s broke down? Clean with alcohol and put some WD40 on it before re-assembling?
