Hi. I am new here _O/. I am about to order photon and wondering about the smell issue. I can make ventilated enclosure but i need to know the dimensions (height!) of the printer with lid open. I haven't been able to find this dimension anywhere, could someone measure please?

Hi guys, im testing the anycubic white resin with the 0.025/10/1/50/8 and it looks perfect!

Another noob question.....how do I get the green resin (that came with the printer) to stay clear? I tried curing it with a UV box I found on Thingiverse ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2528201 ) but it ends up cloudy. When I get through washing it in IPA, it is still nice and clear but after curing cloudy.

Ok so first print was good second failed, likely orientation or because I used thin supports and they didn't stick. Currently unsure but everything has been cleaned up.

I want to move the printer to the loft as the fumes are bad and as the printer is in my room it's awkward. Fan was on full and window was open - useless. The loft is the only other space I can put it.

So after measuring it and the USB and open door clearance I'm thinking of building a 27 x 15 x 17 inch enclosure.

Initially I was thinking of fitting a fan to this but it might vibrate so now we are thinking of just adding a tube to it and fixing the fan to the bricks after drilling a big hole in the chimney cavity.

My concern is if the fan will have enough suck to do a good enough job. Would rather not spend much as I'm not currently in full time work.

Any advice appreciated.

Been keeping my Photon in the garage but the smell is too strong for my family. Going to get something out of the car is painful.

I’m looking for solid info how hazardous the fumes are. We have small children so I’m mostly concerned about them breathing the lingering fumes. (They don’t go near it when it’s running but the entire garage stinks for a while afterwards)

Secondly, I’m looking for ideas for a venting system to. I’m in a new build home so I’d probably be punching through cinderblock. What kinds of enclosures/vents do you all use?

Hi people, been a long time. I've received some new Wanhao resin (Black) and i can't get anything to print. The 2 previous bottles where plastic and now i have received an aluminium bottle. Have they changed there formula? The object i tried to print didn't stick to the build plate but lied just in the vat. Didn't stick to the fep either (fortunately). Should i try to increase the bottom layer exposure? Thanks ?
