Hey- this is a new problem for me: im starting to get a thin film of cured resin in my vat. Sometimes attached to models other times floating or attached to the fep.

This is a new thing for me.

Any thoughts on the cause?

Serious question: I prefer to print long supports and THEN the model - but ive been having issues with the Photon slicer.

My process is like this:

1) raise model 10 mm
2) add supports
3) go back to print view - see that the slicer dropped the model closer to the plate (bad bad)

try again.

Anyone else noticed this and/or found a way to defeat it?

question for you all.

Photon with anycubic black resin

I ran a test print and found my settings. I dont have them with me.

I run a print - and PART of it doesnt pull back from the FEP - so I get a dead spot above that part of the print - even though the rest turns out AWESOME.

Do I need to INCREASE the bottom layer time to fix this or what?
