Hello guys, do you know what is the strength of the resin that comes with the printer? is it comparable to PLA or ABS (FDM) in this property once it is cured? Any good source of information regarding strength of DLP printed parts?

The Photon took a toll on me! A month ago it stopped printing. Nothing but a base layers with some parts of support on it. A month of messaging with the support team, a month of frustration.

Yesterday I decided to try Lorenzo Karavania 's brilliant idea to rise UV output power to 40W. I highly recommend this modification, as it really changed the cure time and quality. Please have look at the tests printed before and after the modification.

Though, my photon has failed again on the actual object. I ran out of ideas ☹️ ?

First print done! I made some small marks/scratches getting the supports cleaned up. I understand this is normal, but is there a way to sand and then polish or buff? I ask because I know I can prime and paint but I like the green :)

Another day, another problem. Resin vat is glued to the screen.
I tried to remove it but it's stuck. I could probably force it with full strength but I'm afraid to damage the screen.
Any suggestions?
And ideas why this happened?

Hey guys - need a recommendation on a uv light. I've seen the fingernail ones but I don't really like them because most are pretty small so i imagine there will be lots I won't be able to get in there. Also saw the LED strip homemade one. That's one option I'm looking at, but does anyone have any other options they use?

First miniature is a success! Only problem I'm having is I have trapped uncured resin in certain parts of the figure that slowly leak out. I think that was due to improper placement of vents and them being too small. Otherwise it's almost perfect. It's tough to see the detail to remove the support sprue marks so I'll hit it with the UV lamp and then dust it with spray primer to see them better. Hopefully that takes care of the uncured resin as well.

I dont like the standard slicer from anycubic. What are the slicers you use and are happy about?

Any known resin / resin mixture most closely resembles ABS (or at least PLA) in strength and toughness? Eg. X% flexible mixed with Y% base resin?

My anycubic basic resin is kinda brittle. Got chipping trying to remove the supports.
