Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團

Ok so i have had my photon for just over a week and have only done the cube. I have had a problem from the start with the screws the hold on the ball, 2 of the 3 were stripped. Anycubic customer support have been working with me and are sending a replacement, instead of me sending it back, so i have been pleasantly surprised at the fast response time from them. But being the impatient person i am i decided to repair and beef up the assembly. This was done by removing the three screws and drilling out the existing holes to accept a 4mm, or M4 machine screw of much better quality. Had to countersink for the larger screws and then drill and tap out the 3mm thread to a 4mm thread. It is now much more rigid and i expect it to hold its place much better.

Hey all - Just pulled the trigger on a Photon. It should be here this week, It will be my first DLP/SLA printer. I have been printing with FDM printers for a couple of years now. I have a few questions off the bat. I have searched this site for some answers and watched several videos, but like everything else, there are lots of varied opinions. Some specifics I am looking for:
1 - What is the correct IPA percentage to use to clean? Formlabs website says 90% or above, but many here say use only 99%. The Anycubic manual says 95% or above.
2 - The slicer seems to be pretty weak with respect to features. I know some have mentioned Formware, but it is pricey at $149. Curious as to whether it's worth it.
3 - UV cure time, how can you tell how long you should cure an item after you have washed it?

If there is an FAQ section or some other authoritative source/video I should look at first so I don't waste everyone's time? Thanks!

Testing pre-sensitized sceens for Silkscreening, part of the Photon 2 PCB and GFX project at Photonsters

First test was done with a 6-60 exposure and even tho there was images in there it all washed off. so I did a 60-600 exposure and then i got good results. So silkscreen exposure is possíble in the photon, and so will be PCB or metal etching

Best exposure time is around 7 minutes.

5 failed prints. I have tallied how many successful prints vs failed ones and it works 25% of the time. I have managed to get one really amazing print and then none lol even when I try to print the amazing one again, it fails. Sorry to say that it is being sent back for a refund.

Hello everyone. Cold weather is coming and I am wondering what is the lowest temperature I can print at? I have my Photon in the garage where it is about 60 degrees Fahrenheit right now.

Hi !
I have a problem with pixelation or Z axis. I've tried to change the direction of printing to 60/30 degree but there's the same... I printed in smaller steps before but other axis do such things.

Is there a high temp resin that works well with the photon?

Hi everyone!
I've made a video about restoring and customizing an old diecast toy from my childhood using the Anycubic Photon

https://youtu.be/tjKvMo4PnoY

This is a project I have wanted to do for many years but it was when I got my Photon I realised I finally had the tools to make some new wheels for the tractor. I never liked the original wheels ?

Best regards
Stian

Hi. Anyone use Anycubic Yellow? What are the layer times like? Close to the Green?
