Welcome to the Manual resin calibration. Monocure Rapid: Clear edition.

After printing over 100 minis, I got a failed print. I releveled, changed the FEP, changed the build plate and changed my boxers.

The print came out the same. I had recently switched to monocure. That was my issue. I didn’t hone in the settings. I had to figure it out. These were all printed at different settings. I will post my findings as picture comments.

Just wanted to post to share my experience. I am new to dlp printing. I have been printing fdm for a few years now. After researching I wanted to start with an inexpensive model to start my journey into dlp. Unfortunately I think I started with the wrong one (not the Photon). After many failed prints, and many successes that were good but not great, I forked out more money and bought the Photon. Received it last night and printed the sample file first. It was perfect! Wow is all I can say. So next I wanted to try a Weiss model that had failed on the other printer. I only printed it at.05 but I am extremely excited about what this thing is capable of. Another print is running now and I'm looking forward to many more great prints. The support in this group looks great and I'm sure I'll be thanking many of you as I go along.

I know it depends on whats printing but how often should i check to see it to see if the vat needs a refill? I have it in a garage off my my apartment so its a bit of a walk to check lol

Hey guys, having a new problem where the anycubic prints the first few layers then the whole build plate doesn't move and stays down in the vat for the full print...any clues?

Hey all. I posted this over in the 3d printing for profit group and a member suggested I post here too.

Anyone interested in a print job? Needs to be in the US and preferably in the Dallas area if possible.

I am designing something for a customer and he wants protos printed. The features are too small for fdm.

Overall size is roughly 60mm x 20mm x 3mm

There will be three versions and I'm guessing he'll want between 25 and 50 prints done.

Would need to have different color options if possible. Blue, yellow, green, etc.

I'll be finishing the stls this week so I would imagine he'd want to start printing by late in the week or next.

Hey guys,

I had to finish the yellowed resin that was still in the VAT, so decided to print this Southpark crew. Ran out of resin so two of them aren't finished ?

What bothers me is the line running on their heads.. is this a layer shift? And no, I didn't pause the print ?
