I ran across this TED talk and it reminded me of something someone said in the group, about how oxygen affects the process of printing. This was eye opening.

Here is my first partially successful print. This is a set of wings and prop for a 1/24 scale model of a 40% Carden Edge 540 rc airplane. The print partially pulled away from the build plate toward the wingtips. This caused the trailing edges of the wings (closest to the plate) to come out curved and one prop blade to be short.
I used blender to create the model, and ran that through the photon slicer. Supports are set to medium and appear to have connected well.
It has 8 base layers with 50sec exposure.
.05 layers at 10sec and off 1.5sec.
Resin is anycubic green.

So, what would be the most likely problem to have the model partially pull away? ...Level issue? ...more base layer/longer exposure?

MWO King Crab

Anyone have suggestions on how to keep Photon Slicer from crashing. If I do more that one simple part it will crash everytime. Nothing fancy, factory settings in the slicer and 3 x .25" will crash it everytime when I try to slice.

Hello! I want to buy new resin, but there is no many choice in my country. I can’t order in another country because resin is toxic and it’s impossible to deliver. I can buy anycubic or funtodo resin. I want to try grey color, whitch one is better? Thank you! I heared that Phrozen resin is really godly, but I can’t find it in my country :(
Also, I have Monocure resins in shops, but it’s really expensive for me now.

Here what a mix of 50/50 Monocure Flex100 and monocure rapid Gunmetal can do on our beloved Photon. Due to the High fluidity of the Flex100, this make resin mix more watery and can pull out the maximum of the details. I used 15sec for layers exposure and 60sec for bottom. Also i alway use PLATEBOND To make sure the bottom layer stick like glue to the plate.

rotated the model 15 degrees around Z on try 7, dropped exposure to 6s (all the way down from recommended 9!)and stopped losing supports, and still had thicker print on LHS of printer, convinced the lamp is hotter one side) but it seems to be ok now, ill do the high precision stuff on the other printer and the fun organic stuff on this one, always good to have a few tools in your arsenal.
