I just started tinkering with my Photon a few weeks ago. I also bought a cheap handheld 3d scanner earlier this summer (3D Systems Sense, I bought it used), and soon realized that they worked well together ? I've had so much fun scanning people and printing miniatures of them that a made a video of it. I hope you'll like it:

Buying new FEP sheets... and I have the option of 100 micron or 200. What’s the difference for us photon users? (Other than the size difference.)

Deadpool came out pretty legit. Even at 30% scale, it shows a lot of the details in the suit.

Got a fair amount of scarring on the back from support removal though.. any advice on how to minimize that? I used a small file to get the most egregious ones but I don't want to damage the overall print by filing too much.

Another failed print, in the EXACT same spot. Inspected the FEP and sure enough, a cloudy dent in the spot where the support is failing. Ordering new FEP!

Question: (Rtfm didn't help)
Using Photon's Software, what is the Grid, in software, measured at? I really don't want to print a 1" x 1" square just to find out how big the grid is. But if nobody has the answer, or if it's adjustable, then I guess I will.

Guys!! Peopoly just sent me the beta for Asura 1.5 and I gotta say its amazing for support generation and hollowing of models. I've tested it on all of my problem models and it seems to do the best job out of every program I have.

Was thinking about getting a UV bulb from a local hardware store that is designed for aquagardens. It's 9W... is that too low for a curing station? What should I be looking for?
