Anyone know about printing material VERY similar to wax for casting?? I am not talking about castable resin.

Finally got a chance to fire it up! Printing the cube from the usb first. Thought I'd film the satisfying "click" of the first few layers. Notably though, now it's doing the faster layers the click is.much quieter, I had a panic when it went quiet but now it's just a little "tic" sound and you can see the resin level pop when the models comes off the FEP sheet.

The USB didn't work at first, it just flashed rapidly. So I put it in my computer and it started working, then when I put it in the printer it worked fine!

It's 23c in here at the moment but I gave the platform a little blast of heat from a craft heat gun to warm it up and wiped it with a lens cloth and IPA.

I'm not sure if I put enough resin in (filled to the first line on the tank, used about half the sample bottle I think) but will keep an eye on that, but now the long nervous wait to see if a) I get a print and b) it's any good!

So finally tried some organic modelling using pixologics free sculptris. Having always given up I was determined to just finish and print something. I did not plan out the form but here it is.... my freak the Alien fish lol 8hrs from sculpting I'm holding it! That's why I love 3d printing!!! Oh go easy on more I don't sculpt it's my first! ? ✌

If you think you can't sculpt well just try this out as it's a great program!

So after the first 4 prints which went well I had a 5th with support issues.

Now though I've been printing chess pieces and some are sticking fine. But I'm getting odd bits stuck to the fep in the vat.

Also these were all meant to be hollow and clearly some are not.

Hi all!! i am having a problem with my Photon. I turn on the machine and the screen works perfect. BUT. The problem. When I connect the pendrive the screen is paralyzed. Someone knows how to solve this?? When i disconect the pendrive the screen works again.

My two Phrozens are in the mail on the way to me, my photon up for sale if you are in Australia Sydney, Ive done all the legwork to fix its various and many issues like Z Wobble, misaligned stepper drive, flaky USB connections etc. All working good now as per image, (save yourself the headaches ordering one and having to do all the fixes yourself).

PM me a reasonable offer and happy to let ti go to a good home, otherwise I'm giving to my apprentice to poke around with after the phrozens arrive. TIA.

Question time. I mixed an approx. equal amount of Monocure Rapid Clear with the remaining Anycubic Green, the photon comes with.
In my slicer I used the same properties as I did with the (pure) green.
I woke up to a failed print (photo). It's the biggest print I attempted so fast though. The slide solid have been as higher than than that also.

A) why didn't the printer complete the full print, or art least go through the file as if it would work. It stopped midway through

B ) should I change settings (how) if I mix Anycubic Green to Rapid Clear? How so, compared to the profiles for either green or clear?

Hi everyone!
Im trying to figure it out why this strange lines appear. They are inside the 3mm thickness of the lithophane picture, and it seems always occurs at the same top right quadrant. Rather than that the quality is good. It was printed with anycubic green resin (0.05; 10s; 1s; 80s; 8.) only with raft cube shape.
