Hello!
About the toxicity of the resin, can you guys give me a list of do and Don'ts? I know it might not taste good with french fries, but im looking for a more in deep discussion of this matter, like for example: How do we dispose of the wasted resin? Is it dangerous to inhale?

Tried to cure and filter the resin out of my IPA in the cleaning tank with a coffee filter. Before it was clear with a bit of dye settled in the bottom, now it looks like the blue milk from Star Wars ?

Anyone had luck with filtering out IPA?

Ok, got Meshmixer, what do you use as settings for the supports ?
I tried the standard for SLA/DLP and it does generate a lot of beautiful posts, problem I run the analysis tool and all of them are not connected. Tried a lot of different settings and I still end-up with unsupported islands. Help Please !

Hey guys. This is my first time experimenting with a 3D printer of any kind and I got my Photon about a month ago. I’ve been playing with it for a few weeks and trying to get every ounce of detail out of it. At the stock settings it’s great, but I wanted to see what I could get with finer layers. But my prints have been getting less detailed. The white, primed models in the pictures were early prints, with the female model being at factory settings. The white cowboy model was as well. However, the unprimed green model was done with .02mm layers and 7.5 exposure time. The result was much worse with basically no detail (the face is totally smooth). I’m still learning about the printing settings, but any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I finally had the time to test out my Photon and I am blow away by the level of details it was able to do! I did full body scan of a few friends of mine using a Sense 3D Scanner and printed them at 1:87 (HO Rail Transport Modelling Scale) using Monocure Rapid Grey Resin. They are so tiny! Banana for scale ?
