Has anyone used successfully this software with the Photon.

Day 2 of the Photon and it's sure a steep learning curve after the simplicity of FDM. Support and angles being very much the trial and error but at least I managed to get one of my stl files to print, and am very pleased with the quality. This picture doesn't really sohw it as it has only been given a quick spray of grey primer and hasn't been fettled. The only problem (and yes you knew there would be at least one) was that I hadn't added a support at the other end so lost a bit of the dash panel - however, I've made that up with a couple of bits of laminated plasticard so not all is lost. One thing I have noticed is that the slicing time and actual machine time don't seem to bear any relationship - is this a common thing. Also is it possible to open a sliced .photon file to have a look at it again? Thanks for reading - by the way the tramcar is 58mm long overall.

When UV curing a piece how can you tell when it’s fully cured? I’m currently using the green that came with the printer and after curing them for ~15 mins in a UV box most of the print is a matte green while some parts still have a slight sheen. Is this normal?

In my opinion every resin is castable, maybe you should use highter temperature.

I've printed fine on this system with other models, but have yet to have a good print of the test model, I get this every time...

Second question. What are the most precise castable and regular resins? I make a lot of gears and press fit parts. Can't have a ton of shrinkage or warping.

Anybody have an idea what the heck happened to my 99% IPA? I have only used this jar for a few prints to wash them and let it sit in the garage for about 2 weeks untouched and now it looks like this. Only have used anycubic green in it.

I put it under the UV light and tried to strain it but whatever the white stuff is just stays there.

The anycubic green residue I guess is at the bottom and stuck to the jar.
