So, I've just set up the Photon and am printing an object as we speak, although not sure if it's adhered to the plate or the film, so I have a question which may be stupid but.....
Would it be possible to make the platform out of transparent material (plexiglass or something similar) so you could look through it into the tank and actually see what was happening before you've wasted a couple of ours waiting for the platform to be high enough to actually see what is happening.
As I say, it may be a stupid question but I would have thought with modern materials it might be possible and could save a lot of time and resin.

I wanted to share with you my 5:30 am joy. After many failed prints, and not understanding things done wrong, like settings, the resin, the leveling, I managed to print some orcs and other minis for my players, and then decided to take a leap of faith with this one. I had one failure due to bad positioning.

But when I heard the thump on the first layers on my second try, I knew I had done it. There are some errors, one missing support on a tentacle, and for some reason his front teeths warped when exposed to UV, but overall ready for combat.

I want to thank all of you who supported me on previous posts, specially Mr Filipe Anacleto Corado who pmed and explain things personally. Thank you good sir.

A question on the slicer program. I know I can rescale/resize a object, move it rotate it. Is there any way to mirror a item (example change a figure so instead of it holding a weapon in the right arm it is mirrored to be holding in their left arm), cut a larger project or to hollow out a item for printing?

Do we have do Z levelling for every new print ???

Or just initial z levelling is enough???

Pretty happy that I can print such small details now. The top layers will always turn out so nice. One question, how long can I let the resin inside the printer if I have a 100% light sealed enclosure around the printer?

My first problem seems to have disappeared... Dont know how...

But now i cant seem to get the prints quite as i want them.
I get visible layers at 0.02 layer height (13s/1s, monocure rapid black) and some layer shifts that i fear is z wobble
