Hey all. I got a question about dimensional accuracy. My parts are slightly bigger than they should and holes are smaller... Which setting did I get wrong?

Guys and gals, I had a failed print... but nothing in the vat and nothing on the build plate.

Guess what happened when I checked the LCD? Nothing. This is why I usually check it before each print! The more you know! (Restarted it, and restarted the print!)

thanks for accepting in the group. Could you tell me if for dental use I need to make some modification to use anycubic photon?

Did anyone else have a problem with the usb stick included with the printer? I have the newer yellow plexi version.
First issue the usb was 4gb instead of the advertised 8. No big deal, I have tons of the things.
Second, it took like 5 minuets to mount on my Mac Book Pro. When it did come up, Finder only showed 2 empty folders. I ended up downloading the slicer off the internet and printing my Hero Forge D&D character as the test print. Which came out great except for me breaking the bow while removing supports.

I just read that resins can be affected by exposure to air and moisture so "go bad" after time. I use PU resins for casting and there is a product called Xtend-It which you spray into a part used bottle, it leaves a dry gas blanket and effectively stops the resin from aging. I depend on it for some (clear) resins. I'm pretty sure it'd work for 3d printing resins too.

Unfortunately it's not cheap, I get it for £25 a can plus courier costs (but I buy it alongside my resins which spreads the postage). But if it saves a £50 bottle of resin or two from going bad...

First custom (non demo) print. Super pleased with printer.
How long do you all expose the resin assets to UV? Can you over expose or is it good to just leave?

Has anyone here had a Form1 (Or 1+ or 2)? I ask as I've just ordered a Photon and am now remembering all the pain I went through with my old Form1 a few years ago trying to get a good print. I never really managed to nail it! I'm really hoping to see at least some successes like you guys have been sharing!

Things have come so far since the Form1 (I got pregnant so sold it and am just now getting back in the game but can't afford a Form2), I don't need perfection, just mostly successful prints. I'm a 3D CAD type by trade so happy with the software, just a bit useless on the hardware front.

The Photon looks a bit too good to be true, I can't wait to give it a go, I just hope my luck has changed so I can share some cool prints soon too!

I thought id share these creepy little things I made a few weeks back. I printed these from my own ZBrush sculpt and are probably the most delicate prints Ive done yet, removing the supports/sanding was especially "fun". :D
I printed them in Monocure rapid grey and after removing supports, sanding and curing I airbrushed/ hand painted the finished pieces with acrylics.

Printed on the photon with anycubic white and yellow. First multipart print that I hollowed out. I painted it with testors model paints.
