(first day with printer) Having issues using the provided ANYCUBIC Photon Slicer software, for some reason even the demo file doesnt load properly. Just displays the LCD view but never puts the mesh into the viewer. Any ideas? Thanks.

Has anyone had issues when printing multiple parts like the printer restarting?

Hello all. I just got the photon, my first printer. I'm learning a lot, but I still have a lot to learn! I was wondering if anyone had any luck with third-party, cheaper resins. Nova 3D specifically is what I'm looking at. It's about 20% cheaper. But I'm wondering if it's worth it, or if third-party resins could in any way damage the printer.

Has anyone tried using the laminating pouch trick instead of FEP sheets? Interested to see if it works. Has anyone tried using the laminating pouch trick instead of FEP sheets? Interested to see if it works. 翻譯年糕

I just finished a Revell 1/72 scale T-55 Russian Tank Model. It was a fun build, but I have to say at the price of the kit, my Photon 3D printed tanks look just as good and cost a fraction of the price.

Here's a tip for any modelers out there that haven't already thought of this... keep some of your supports (no need to keep ALL because there will be SOOOO many!) Also keep failed prints, especially if they didn't stick to the plate and were in the vat but formed a nice smooth rectangle... square... circle... whatever... Because you never know when you will need something, or a greeblie and one of the failed prints then becomes a usable piece! :)

My Tip of the day :)
