This is why I got this printer. Sourcing many of the original parts of props and costumes made 40 years ago can be tough, and for some parts; impossible. Now, I can model up these tough to find things and print them up. Love this machine!

First time in a over a year of resin printing, and a fep sheet tears and leaks during a print! Didn't think it was possible, but the Photon did it. Lucky it happens during the last couple of layers. I was able to get the resin off the LCD without damage, but it set me back in my flow...

anybody here experimented with dyes to add custom colors to clear resin ? any effects on exposure times or stability of the cured model ? I'm trying out urethane dye that is suitable for epoxy and suchlike - not sure what to expect yet :-)

So I've mentioned my setup is in my garage and I just start my printer and when done, open the garage door and vent the fumes out. Every so often I go in with a regular paint respirator and check on things.

Been feeling a little light headed today and not sure if its cause of that. My question is, does anyone know if a regular paint respirator is good enough to actually filter those resin fumes or if there is a finer mask that has to be used for that?

I haven't had any issues till today so I was a little worried maybe the mask isn't as safe as I thought.
