Decided to try and print something other than a DnD mini but had 2 failures. I'm trying to print an armoured vehicle but it is not sticking to the build plate. I added the supports in B9 Creator and I am wondering how the photon slicer deals with the base layers if it doesn't do the supports, does it still add them and how much of the base plate does it cover in relation to the model.

Hi everyone,
Prints are 90% great, but'melting/running' look in parts and lose of some details on build plate side.
Have just switched to monocure rapid grey from the cubic green.
.025 layer exp 12 off 1 bottom 110 bottom layer 5
(The minis are only 22mm long)
What setting am I getting wrong for this?

Seriously, I'm doing a test print with some new resin and now I am hearing a 'chirping'/squeel when the z-axis lifts the build plate. It's faint, but I hear it.

OK, so here's my theory about the M_11800/M_11820 error:

It's an electrical error that presents as a software error. I think what's happening is that there are some motor drivers that are weak, and can't consistently deliver enough power for the motor (probably because they're cheap), and at some point during a print, while there is a build plate movement happening, the system is drawing just slightly too much power. I noticed that often the screen slightly dims when this happens.

The electrical/mechanical system recovers fine, and finishes the movement, but but some portion of the digital system driving it has failed because of the momentary loss of power, and the result is that the USB filesystem loses the "mount" status, or something in volatile memory or whatever. Then, when the digital system goes to retrieve the next hunk of the print instructions, it behaves as if the USB drive has been pulled mid print (I tried pulling the thumb drive mid-print, it responds with a similar memory error, though a different number.)

So, in theory, the solution would be solving the power delivery problem, on the mainboard. Has anyone done that? Has anyone had the M_118X0 error, and solved it (for more than a few days)? Did replacing the mainboard do it?
