Some of today's prints. I can't tell you how impressed I have been with the quality of this printer.

I use the Photon to proof my work. these will be sent off and printed on an EnvisionTec Perfactory P4 to be cast.

The material is a equal part mix of Anycubic Yellow & Green, and Monocure Gunmetal Grey. the last picture is the setting I used.

Can you open .photon files in the anycubic slicer to view or change settings? I only get a build preview but cannot see the 3d object or change setting time...

I ran a search and didn't find any mention of this, so I'm sharing it for anyone who hasn't seen it: Formlabs whitepaper on UV curing for different types of resin. You have to give them some info the get access to the pdf, but I just faked the phone number. lol

Hi all, curious about using resin dyes... are they all pretty much the same, or are there preferred brands? I did a search and see that several members like the Fun To Do pigments.

I just found this on Amazon, and it actually specifies UV resin. other brands I found did not mention UV.

Any (temporary) substitute for isopropyl alcohol?

We can't get IPA from the high street (in the UK) so will have to wait until next week for some - any other suggestions petrol, white spirit? I don't want to damage the FEP though...

Anybody figure out a reliable way to extract models from video games? Saw a few people doing it but havent found a solid way to make it work.

My Photon has arrived and before I set it up I'd like to use Configuration-2 code file someone posted here to let me set the thing up. Is the original file available though please in case it all goes badly wrong.

So I'm wondering, alot of people mention resin getting between the vat and the screen. How is that possible? Is the vat not sealed so that resin leaks from under it and gets on the screen?

It seems like this would not be possible unless it is leaking. Just trying to understand that issue that people have and why it happens. Thanks.
