why is the preview in red?

Is it common knowledge that the LCD screen is considered "consumable" and has to be replaced every 6 months? I'm just wondering if anyone else is surprised by this. Seems kinda bad if true.

Have a question to smart people.

I have Z wooble, and i was speaking with the official Facebook Anycubic. Sadly there answer was "We are improvint it" After one week of the same I asked them if they could meyebe send me new parts of the Z axes. And they send my to aliexpress seller for the parts. But in the aliexpress site is the Anycubic it self the seller right ? So I'm asking who is on official Facebook then ?

After days of research, I've just bought the Photon. Where's the best place (US) for good but cheap resin?

I went through all the Anycubic green that came with the printer. Then I went through 1ltr of Wanhao gray, and I'm putting a hurtin on the Wanhao clear... all in about a week and a half of printing (went on vacation for 4 days).

My opinion...
The Anycubic green is incredible!
The Wanhao gray is okay, but my wife did manage to drop and break the castle rook print... so I'd say it has decent detail but seems a bit brittle. (I used the spreadsheet settings)

The Wanhao clear... detail seems okay, I won't know until I throw a coat of primer on it, BUT it is definitely not clear. It's more like a clear yellow. Actually like a pee yellow... I won't be getting any more of it even though I primarily am printing engine thrusters and wanted them clear to light. The rest gets painted and detailed.

I have a gallon of the Bucktown to test and play with, but I find myself wanting to pull the trigger on some Monocure. It's just hard justifying 4x or more in cost as compared to FDM filament for a comparable amount of printed objects. Yes the detail beats any FDM in spades, but the resin is going to be very expensive very fast!

I'm using IPA in a spray bottle to dilute the last of the resin left in the VAT! Be interesting to see how others are cleaning out thier VAT before their next print!

Had my power supply go last night on a good print damn it!

Ohh well, at least it's a well covered issue. Time to order one and hope it's just the power supply that went and nothing else.
