Hey Guys,

I‘m one step away from buying a Photon but I keep reading about defective LCDs, z-Wobble of doom and dying PSUs.

How are the chances of getting a „flawless“ machine?
Is this going to be like 50/50 that my printer will work? If that’s the case I‘ll rather look for another machine.

Any advise would be appreciated!

Finally we have quite a good result with HARZ Labs Cast Cherry. We found resin needs 3-4h at 800*C to burn out completely, so we choosen Prestige Optima investment which allows to operate at such a temperature.

Made a custom stylus for a mobile game I play. Resin is wanhoa Red (love it) and has a coat of clear coat over top. Settings in the pictures.

Hi can anyone help, the photon slicing software will not work on my pc, it loads but whenh i try to load a model the is just a quick green flash of a loading bar and then nothing, if i try and do something it tell me no model is loaded, i also have the same with the Chi Tu version

I'm finally giving up on Photocentric high tensile. No way to print fine detailed parts. Overexposure close to build plate, underexposure further away and the pigment just falls out of solution. Fine details are obscured and there is a lot of UV layer bleed through. Bye bye Photocentric.

Hello,
I am looking for a high resolution mat finish resin for modeling. I have seen dentifix modeling resin and it looks ideal. Had any one used it in a photon? Or is there a better option?
I did try ameralabs but had major issues with any print with a large surface area.
