So, I'm kind of undecided as to what resin to buy first. I'm either going for FTD Industrial black, uncoloured or deep black. I'm going to be using this to print mainly 6mm to 28mm wargaming models, with a higher percentage of prints in 6mm models. So, layers of 0,01 to 0,025. What would you modelmakers out there go for? I'm a bit concerned the deep black will prove more troublesome.

Hi everybody! I have the photon for a week now, but haven't printed anything yet because I'm having a hard time finding isopropyl alcohol on my town to clean the prints of resin residue... Is there any good replacement I can use while I search for the alcohol?

Just finished printing female mesh sculpture from thingiverse and got quite a few issues with this print. Settings were: 10s (normal exposure), 1s (off time), 20s (bottom exposure), 8 (bottom layers), resin is Wanhao Black.

Second image shows first issue - front base didn't stick to the base and was even more curled up when I tried to get it off the base. Reason: probably platform was not correctly aligned.

Third image shows strangest issue - mesh didn't fuse with base. Reason: I have no idea.

Fourth image shows missing part of model. Reason: printing with no support.

Would you use different settings and timings? Any other suggestions?

Can someone tell me if this is really bad z wobble or if it could be caused from forgetting to cut drain and suction holes in my model. It does not seem as bad closer to the base where the vacuum wouldn't have been as bad. I'm printing another part now with holes to check just wanted y'all's opinion.

Just printed Wanhao Orange object. Very fine results at 15 seconds exposure.

Tried same object in Anycubic White which felt more thick and viscous pouring it in.

The fine surfaces are thicker when printed in White.

Is this an inherent problem with viscosity, or is the exposure too high at 15 sec?

Good morning all. My printer arrived late yesterday, huzzah! I am about to try my first print. Set 0 with the Flint method last night. One starting question, do you remove the supports before or after the IPA wash?

I've been getting some small lines on the sides of smooth surfaces when I print, would this be down to Z axis wobble? I put a bit of primer on to show the lines better.
