It's kind of like those few minutes a day when your kids really get along well...

Finally got the rest of my setup done. Yeah, most of you could have probably made this set up for 60 cents and a banana peel, but I'm lazy so I dropped the $50 on a 2'x2'x3' grow tent. (After the filter and tent, I'm probably on some meth lab/pot house watch list.) I'm running it now and everything seems to be working like a champ.. no smell gets out, no light gets in, printer is functional, and I haven't burned the house down. I'm going to move a few things around inside and change the exhaust location, but overall, it's functional. Now back to printing!

So this is a simple print(one I’m holding) nice smooth 2d image extruded 2mm. I print daily with this and lots of other resins with great success, So there is no reason why this piece went askew... until I thought about it and figured it out. Can you guess or assume what may have caused this offset in the print? ? I’m heading to bed and will explain tomorrow. Good night all.

Finally had success on FTD SB black. 35mm size... .04/15/6/80/8
Used heavy supports on this print (medium would have been better). Broke off two tenticles man-handling the cutting of the supports (damn beer). After several experiments, also found the amount of resin put into the vat had a bearing on the print being sucessessful or not. Only put enough in to to partially cover the print platform.

I like this stuff. It has a rubbery feel/texture to it.

Hello, got my printer working great now. Now I am looking into the best way to cure parts, currently just leaving them out in the sun. It's just not that reliable!! Ideally looking for something that will work with large parts as well. I have seen UV nail lamps mentioned before, just thinking that they are going to be too small and not powerful enough for the large prints - seen UV sterilisers that are big enough and low cost-effective would they work?

Just emailed 3D Okay usa in the hope they sort their resin out

Guys I am a Moderator on the Anycubic Photon owners group, on facebook.

And I am seeing more fails from the 3D okay resin than any other resin.

You need to have this resins formula made more consistent it cracks, peels and just plain fails to print so much that it's by far the worst resin on the market right now.

This is a shame as at this price if it was in any way reliable then this would be the best resin ever for LED machines.

The same file printed with 3D Okay will fail in many different ways using the same machine and the same temperatures and curing methods.

Yours faithfully F. Read.

UPDATED Just had this reply so hopefully they can get this resolved soon.

Hi Flint,

I apologise. Obviously there is something going on with the latest batch. I am letting them know and I will no longer be sending resin out until I have an answer. I am just a distributor and all I can do is quit sending it out until this issue is resolved. I will let you guys know ASAP.
