Printed out a model of a house to see how it looks like on the property and to get the best position before building the house.

Since the replacement parts are coming and it seems like I will finally be able to enjoy the printer, I was thinking about making some more upgrades. Starting with the fans. I want to make it less noisy. What fans do you recommend?

Might be a bit silly question, but nevertheless. I'm planning on buying a Photon, but the Aliexpress store fronts confuse me a bit. Two different stores "Anycubic" and "Anycubic OFFICIAL" and both of them have multiple different store items for Photon with slightly differing names and prices.

Are there actually different versions of the unit (outside of different plugs) or is it just multiple listings of the same?

Artur Fuste - here are the settings that worked best for me with Monoprice White.

Not really impressed with this resin. None of the prints had a "wow" factor. It's been difficult to find an exposure that cures enough, but retains finer details. Also, it yellows in post-cure - very ugly, but if painting, not a big deal.

Pros:
- it's affordable ($16.99/250ml + shipping)
- it's forgiving; sticks to the build plate like glue
- it feels strong, less brittle than others I've tried; on par with Anycubic green

Cons:
- not very attractive unfinished
- muddy details
- very thick/viscous

EDIT: room temperature 72-75 F / 22-24 C

3D Scanners...

One thing I would like to do with my new printer is to be able to scan items and then make 3D prints. Who knows about 3D scanners? I was looking at this one and it looks interesting but don't know if it's just throwing money away...

Photocentric Clear Firm

LZ: 50µ / LE: 20s / BL: 8 / BE: 120s / OT: 6.5 / RT 22ºc

Print Time: 3h40min
Cleanup: Quick IPA Squirted
Post Cure: UV nails 1hr
Post Cleanup: IPA submersion (quick, shaken)

Smell: Not noticable

*************************************************
Model: Thinguiverse Lara Croft (H0) scale
*************************************************

These are the Photocentric Clear good settings for my Photocentric Clear Resin.

Like I had said before i felt the resin was being overexposed so i dropped another 5 secs from the minimum time i had calculated with my resin test plate STL Hack.

The plate multiexposure reveald that the minimum time to develop a 50µ layer was 5x5s exposures (25s) so i sarted with 30s to be on the safe side, turns out 20s is great.

The resin post cure process is good since the uncured resin has a greenish tint to it, and once fully cured it gets transparent

Sorry for the bad quality pics, forgot my mobile phone @ home today :)

Hope this is of some help to others

Almost perfect with the monoprice black, might bump up the exposure time a bit more try a 45° angle on the print since there is still some sagging happening at the... I guess butt of the rifle...

So, first print gone wrong. The only thing visible was the base layer, that where stuck on the sheat, nothing on the plate.
Any ideas what I did wrong?
