This is the results of my 8th print I think. Second successful lol. I possibly had an issue with my screen so I strategically placed everything you see here so that I could see where the problem may have been.

I can see a few imperfections but overall I am happy to have so many things printed all at once.

Maybe this is silly, but when the preview of your print is yellow is it bad? I noticed the print in the top left failed earlier, yet the one on the right was successful completely. The difference being the design is blue while the supports are yellow, yet the top left is entirely yellow. Does this mean anything?

I come into the 3D printing world from gaming. I noticed yesterday that Moncure 3D posted an interview with Duncan 'shadow' Louca . Duncan is an amazing modeler and I already have plans to print up some of his models.

Is there much of a difference between the resins available from different manufacturers?

There's a big difference in the cost of the resins on Aliexpress, for example 500ml of Anycubic costs US $50 while Wanhao costs US $20

Is the Anycubic resin worth 2.5x the price?

Also, living in NZ the shipping costs are very high and adds another $25 to $30 onto the costs.

Any other resins that I should be looking at that are cost effective?

Hey guys, just curious whether anyones experimented with translucent prints yet and how well that worked for you all (pics if you've got them!).

I want to print miniatures for table top RPGs and embed LEDs in them to indicate whether the mini is a friend or foe (for example if the mini lights up red it's a baddy, green is a goodie and blue is neutral at this stage). Ideally I'd like to have the whole mini painted minus the eyes (or perhaps some other detail) to make this distinction.
