Hi there, enjoying the forum a lot, and learning a lot. Thank you all, talented people. I have a question. I would like to use the green resin as much as I can and was thinking to do samples of my jewelry pieces. I know I cannot cast this resin directly. Can I spray paint the prints in a gold paint, so can have them as samples to show? I believe some people are spray paint their prints with primer....do I need primer or can spray directly with gold (and silver) paint?

Thank you for the acceptance! Getting my first dlp printer soon. Any tricks or "things you wished you knew before" items I should be aware about with this printer? Also what is a good place to buy more resin. Thank you guys?

It's here! Cleaned up, leveled, and ready to print!

However, when I load the PHOTON.photon file in the Anycubic Photon slicer, the slices load but the actual model doesn't appear. Anyone know what's up?

So I select the .stl file I want to print, but it just sits at this screen. What am I doing wrong?

...so does anyone have an idea, why tf my print tapered at the out side? All supports in b9 were perfectly straight. The model itself is bent too. I'm trying to print the holder at 30° now, f'ed up 3 times already :-) My best guess is the Photon is for organic models only...

To address the problem of fep cracking and ruining screens I may have a solution. I have a potter I can cut thin screen protectors with that would cover the screen and the area Under the vat so is all you would have to do it rezero with it on. If the vat would crack the resin would then harden to the protector rather than the screen and would also stop resin from getting through the cracks around the screen I have multiple materials on the way from my supplier to try out.. Show of hands how many people would be interested in these maybe Flint Read and Philippe Maegerman could chime in on this one

Guys a question about hollowing prints out. I have a small model figurine (100mm tall). I was wondering if you do hollowing in Meshmixer and some parts very thing, would Meshmixer ignore those areas. (which is fine for me). Legs & body is fine to hollow but weapons to thin.
