Sorry so late to reply. Just CPC is Taiwan company, the other is Japan. But the print quality are both fine.

It can go faster, but it also depends on what your printing. You may need to go 15-30mm speed if your in .1mm parameter and intricate design or go fast on 50-80mm speed on .25-.3mm parameters for large object.

I have an Atom 2 (same physical structure as 2.5EX) and regularly print at 80 mm/sec with good results. If the part to be printed is reasonably smooth (meaning no sharp corners, such as a bowl shape) 100 mm/sec works fine. I'm currently using the Prus a version of the Slic3r slicer which I like a lot; I previously used Craftware, but that one is undergoing a series of revisions now and although it works well in most cases it does have problems with certain types of geometry.

Layer shift issues could be caused by stepper motor missing steps. You can try to decrease the print speed or acceleration.

The structure of 2.5ex is very stable but main broad is a little bit old ,you can watch the Tom' s review for more details.
