All i am still new to this resin printing.

Tried this print today and it failed - my guess is supports but can the experts give me some steer on why it failed please and how to improve so i can avoid failures.

I’m guessing resin goes off. I tried using some wanhao grey tonight that was opened about 9 months ago. It was almost clear green. Anyway print failed. It had the start of the print stuck to the bed and some stuck to the FEP.

Am I right the resin is past its best?

Anyone using the Mac Photon Slicer?
It wont let me rotate the object into negative values? i.e -0.90
Does the PC version let you do this?

Print success. Not bad. Some issues but minor

So after a successful print of the photon cube. I tried a new print today. Carefully added loads of support and sliced it and started printing.

Nope nothing stuck to bed and stuck to FEP. So just cleaned it again.

If I got a good print last time that was well stuck to the bed why did it fail this time?

whats the maximum amount of resin you can put into the vat to ensure when the bed is dropped into it that it does not overflow. 1/3 is hard to measure and how do you know it is enough to build the model you are about to print?

ok after my 1st failure last night I have a successful print - Hooray. Question I have cleaned the vat with 99% IPA and it still looks cloudy. How do you guys clean the vat.

do the blue windows filter UV from entering the print chamber. Asking if I can leave a print overnight then clean out the vat the next day ?
