Hello everyone,

I recently purchased an Anycubic Photon printer and cannot get it to print. It printed successfully three times of the past 30 prints. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong.

I re-level the build platform almost every time. I've watched the set-up video on the AnyCubic website and tried various distances with paper leveling (can barely pull the paper out, can only pull the paper and not push, can push and pull the paper).

I was using the Anycubic Photon Slicer v1.3.3 for most of the tests, but I just installed v1.3.6.

Remove build plate from the machine, place it on a paper towel, scrape the failed print from the platform into the trash. I spray the platform with 99% IPA, wipe with paper towel until it is clean, return it to the printer and tighten the knob to secure it.

I loosen the two knobs to remove the resin vat, remove it, and filter the uncured resin through a 190 micron funnel into a clean glass. I replace the vat with a clean one and pour the filtered resin (Anycubic Gray) into the vat. I'm using regular exposure settings from the Resin XP test that seems to print just fine every time (14-16s for 0.05mm) and guessing at the other settings. 4-10 bottom layers, 50-120s cure time, 2-6.5 off time. I thought temperature might be an issue, so I moved the printer from an area where it was 70 degrees to where it's 78 degrees Fahrenheit.

I've tried with and without supports. Lately, I've been trying things that have worked in the past (3D Benchy 20-40% size, treefrogs 20% size). The most recent time I leveled, I used a paper that was about 0.1mm thick and set Z=0 where I could push with some effort and still pull the paper out.

I'm working with two separate resin vats. I sanded my build plate slightly, and can still see the blue color. I just printed a Resin XP test, and it printed perfectly without leaving cured resin attached to the FEP film. The printer itself is level on a hard surface where it is sturdy.

I'm open to any suggestions.

I bought a 2L ultrasonic cleaner and plan to clean my prints. Is there any concern over using IPA in this if I use the metal cover that came with it and don't turn on the heater?

Ok, it's time to ask for recommendations after 12 consecutive failed prints. I leveled the bed at least 7 times, trying from very tight on a single layer of paper to barely touching the paper folded over five times. The base attaches to the build plate, but my supports don't print or I only get stumps of supports. There is always material stuck to the plastic sheet in the vat. I've replaced the sheet, tried new resin (yes, I shook it up well), and I'm not printing anything that is overly difficult. The test print cube doesn't even print. I've tried sanding the print bed slightly in an 'X' pattern. Most prints were attempted with AnyCubic gray, 16s cure time, 1.5-3s off, 8 base layers at 70s. These settings worked before.
