For any of the validator / support wizards out there, I have a file I have been asked to print and I can't seem to get it through the validator. If anyone is willing to take a look, please send me a PM and I can send you the file. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

for you folks who have tested the strength of various resins, are there any that are "nylon-like"? I have someone who wants to print a pulley and they believe Nylon-G (glass fiber reinforced nylon filament) would be suitable if printed on an FDM printer.

Quick question:

On ChiTuBox, I got a message that there was a newer version so I downloaded that and ran the install....

However, the printer setups I had did not seem to transfer. Is this normal? Either way, where are the previous version configs stored so I can import them into the new version?
I searched for *.cfg files and could not find any.

Fellow Photonsters!

I have had my photon for quite a while and have great success with it!

However, I am currently having trouble getting an item to print properly. I have tried a variety of printing orientations for the item, run it through the optimizer, etc. I have increased the bottom layers and increased the time exposure. I can post all of the various details as needed but didn't want to clutter up this post with that at the onset. What I am looking for is some insight as to which way to put the item to increase the success of the print.

Using Elegoo Red. It's a case for a medical device.

Another question: I have never noticed my photon beeping during a print. Today, on a large print, it is doing that. Is there significance to that beeping? Nothing seems to be going wrong so far (knocks on wood).

Has anyone in here successfully set up a Toshiba FlashAir wireless LAN card to use with the Photon? If so, has it been reliable? If so, would you be willing to share your config file (sans your local info, of course)?

Thank you for the add. I am getting my Photon on Friday. I have an FDM printer setup now, and I am excited to get this SLA UV Resin Printer up and running.

I am still learning, but a quick question: It seems to me that you can import the STL files created in your design SW (in my case Solidworks) to the Photon's slicer software. Is this correct? Or is there another format required for the SLA process?
