EDIT: SOLVED! As people suggested there was resin in the ball bearing! i will try to fill it less next time ? thanks for all the help! i am always amazed this commuity <3

Hi friends! I just noticed my build plate is able to move left and right even when the screw is thightened (it does not tilt). what can i do to make it solid? I have noticed my prints have miss alignment lines for some time, but now i see this is the cause. please help!! <3

Hi! I was wondering if it is possible to change the A4988 (assuming that is what the photon uses) to something like a TMC 2208? Would love to hear from you on this! :)

Hi! I have replaced the fans with quieter ones, and the photon is now really quiet - except when moving up and down during printing.

Has anyone tried putting dampers on the nema motor, or damping feet like with fdm printers? any other suggestions to making the stepper more quiet? 2208 drivers maybe? :D

Hi again, does anyone here know the "magic number" of the photon?

For example my ender 3 moves the most accurate in increments of 0.04mm.

If not, maybe what thread the z rod is so i could calculate it? :)

Hi, i am a new Photon owner, and i have a few questions:

1) is there supposed to be a high pitched buzzing during usage? (Except the z screw, and the fan)

2) is the fan on the bottom supposed to blow air out, and not pull it in?

3) is it normal, that the resin has lots of bubbles/almost visible particles after shaking? (Got 1L anycubic black with the printer)

4)how much resin should i pour in the vat? A miniature needs like 3ml, but that wont cover even the bottom of the floor haha ?
