I was inspired by Kelly Sealey and her post to put my stock of IPA to good use. This gallon is being made into hand sanitizer for a church who is delivering lunches to kids out of school who rely on the school system for a meal.

I’m not posting this for any pats on the back. I’m hoping I can inspire someone like Kelly did to me. This IPA can be put to way more good then just washing resin. Please consider sacrificing a few prints, to save a few lives.

I tried using Prusa for auto-supports like I’ve seen so popular among Photon owners, but I’ve had 90% of my models fall in the vat. I’ve started adding more supports along with the Prusa auto-supports, but I’m still not having great luck. I’ve switched back to using Chitubox and adding my own supports, and I get nearly 100% success, but it’s just so time consuming. Anyone have any tips for their success with quick/automated supports? I’m a busy dad with little time to tinker around with my printer, so I’d love to get my workflow moving faster, so I can spend more time doing the things like actually (finally) painting my models. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to read this and give some advice. ?

Just got my Photon up and running. My test print cube came out perfect. Everything else after...not so much.

I’m trying to print miniatures. I really have no idea what I’m doing. Every print comes out with no details. I have an Ender 3 filament printer that gives much better detail.

I’m using Anycubic Eco Yellow resin, and chitubox for the slicer. I’ve been copying other people’s settings I find by googling, but I can’t really find a good place to start.

I’m willing to do some trial and error, but I’d really like a good starting place. If any of you would be so kind to just explain what slicer you use, with what settings, and why you do so, then I feel like I could at least have a good place to start from.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes time out of their day to help a noob out. ?
