Just ordered the Anycubic Photon S. Never used a resin printer before. My expectations are good print quality and low maintenance. I'm afraid of having to deal with bad plate adhesion, visible layer shifts due to machine inconsistency and things that will force me to reprint parts and waste material. Any advice for a new comer?

Used to be able to print dice perfectly. Now I'm getting this bulge/rounded area in the seam that is parallel to the build plate. Any ideas? I supported the hell out of it and photon validator found no islands. Rest of die is perfect.

First pic shows bulge at right side, second pic shows at the top.

Hey folks. I just got the Photon yesterday and started the test print this morning. I got around 45-50% before noticing that there was nothing on the build plate. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Is it okay to go back through the setup again to maybe reset the Z-axis .01 to .02mm down and then make another attempt? I'm assuming that I have to remove the resin, clean the build plate, etc.?

Anyone have some advice for easily scaling down prints?

No such thing as a strict 6mm option button and im having trouble where XYZ scale on certain prints compared look different

Note: I HAVE locked scaled some files down and put 6mm in the X measurement but all these prints come out different sizes

So I have a few prints with Elegood grey done (the one that says "ABS strong" on the box or something similar). I've noticed that the prints always remain a bit sticky. Not like resin sticky but just a little bit. This is after long curing of 20 or 30 minutes under UV lamps and sitting outside for a few days. Is this normal?

My life size file shrunk down to fit on the photon. will be 55cm tall when done. The T-800 will be standing on skulls. Just the base was 3d printed. the skulls was on the photon.

I am still learning to make better prints. I printed a railroad wagon of own design in 1/350 scale overnight. Cleaned it up in the morning, and cured in the winter sun. When placed on the table, the "upper" end (far from raft) looks very crisp and nice. The end near the raft and supports is however very soft and swollen, details are lost. What did I do wrong? I had a support on a coupler, in the middle of the end, and on both steps (one broke off while cleaning).

Did I clean badly (Ethanol 97%, about 3 mins in first clean tank, let it swell, then shake the part inside for 30 secs while holding the raft with pliers, then move to second tank, swell 2 mins, shake 20 seconds). Am I over or underexposing (Anycubic eco blue, layer 0,03, table settings)? Bad support positioning? Bad angles (angled at 32.4' on one axis, 0 on another).

Hi everyone, my photon doesn't recognize the usb drive. It says "memory error M_101000 unplug usb bla bla". Googled, but nothing found. Plug unplug, off, on, off on, wait, nothing fix it. Try another usb, same message. Please help me, can't print anything.

Did the ball in ball! Awesome results with Polyjuice water washable resin from Filaments.ca. Skin color, down to 8 sec layers, 4 bottom 45sec. Fast cure ,fast wash and rinse, 15 to 20 min in the sun for good mesure. This stuff is great!
