Why is the Flashforge Hunter so expensive? What makes it so much better than the Anybubic Photon S, for example? Why is the Flashforge Hunter so expensive? What makes it so much better than the Anybubic Photon S, for example?
為甚麼flashforge獵人這麼昂貴? 比如說, 有甚麼比任何泡泡光子s更好?

My first look is that its a DLP printer and not MSLA, they also seem to put more time into the software for jewerly mode? Idk, it seem overpriced but there hopefully is "something"

dlp projector less maintainance. only consume bulb and fep. high price machines usually cost less on maintenance

Build quality, accurate, reliable, dlp projector instead of lcd. Professional machine vs hobby machine

For the same price you could get this. And its bigger and slightly faster. https://shop.parkdentalresearch.com/JUELL-3D-3-PDR-J3D3.htm

Photon is also a DLP printer. The big difference with this new one is that it's got a 4k resolution LCD, not 2k. But it steps at 25 microns, not 10. So better X Y resolution, possibly worse Z resolution, depending on what you print with your Photon. Didn't see if it's a monochrome screen, which speeds up printing time and increases LCD life.
Chase Wichert 2020-03-18 17:46:02
Fred Bey it isn’t actually a dlp printer, dlps project the light where needed, the photon uses an lcd to mask the light where needed
Fred Bey 2020-03-18 18:59:09
It's a DLP printer. Any LCD printer is. Some use the LCD as a mask to block light from a different source, some use the LCD itself as the light source. Both are Digital Light Projection printers. It's certainly not SLA, since it has no lasers. S tereo lithography printers use 2 lasers that alone can't cure the resin, but where they intersect, the combined light causes curing. They are also way more than $200. lol https://all3dp.com/1/anycubic-photon-3d-printer-review/

Do you guys think this is a good amount of UV leds? It's about 2 to 2.5 meters of a led strip. Because of the geometry of the bowl, I had to cut the strip many times and solder them, do you think this could impact in current and resistance over all the leds? Thx

Hello. I’m building a uv curing station for myself. I got two inox steel bowls, one inox strainer and I’m about to buy a uv led strip, but before I do it, is there any specification for it? I’m looking at one that says:
Works at 12v Wavelength 395~405nm Work temperature -20° to 50° Etc (believe those are the most important info)
Appreciate any recommendations, ty

Hello guys, I just want to be sure if these marks are a problem or not. Also, how often, or for what reasons do you change the film of the resin tank?
I’m asking because I printed two identical models in the same print, but they came out with some holes in thin areas, but in different from one to another, and I’m assuming it was problem during the curing. (I also think that, because I left the resin in the tank for almost a week, I didn’t shake it well enough prior to the print)

Just ordered the Anycubic Photon S. Never used a resin printer before. My expectations are good print quality and low maintenance. I'm afraid of having to deal with bad plate adhesion, visible layer shifts due to machine inconsistency and things that will force me to reprint parts and waste material. Any advice for a new comer?
