A question has been bothering me. With the new firmware for the Photon S and Fauxton released, that allows the use of open source programs, is the Fauxton actually better than Photon? What are the differences now?

Is this known issue with chitubox? I was slicing larger print. Saved it to USB key. Tried to print it. Come back hour later. Noticed It was just sitting there at 1%. Thought Photon was broken. So I tried different printer. Finally I noticed. They USB keys I was using are full. But Shutibox didn't tell me they were. Just saved the files and everything was fine. It even took long time to save, even though USB has zero bytes free.

Any recommendations on White, Grey & Flesh/Skintone colored resins that aren't too brittle? Are there any that are a little more flexible and forgiving of tiny delicate details that I otherwise accidentally snap off?

I like the Anycubic transparent green but can't see the details I sculpt into my models due to the nature of the transparency and I don't want to have to coat every print in primer. I plan on making figurines, and possibly a ball jointed Doll strung together via elastic tension holding it together.

3D printer back up and operating installed new UV light cooling fan on underside and doing prints of HS-15 back chassis.. in five hours if all goes well I can certify if it is fully fixed and back in production.

so far hearing that lovely pop sound as printer raised each time from print bed showing its got good print leveling.

I was not happy with airflow out under printer since it seemed I was getting heat build up directly under printer from air coming out from the UV light that was then deflecting back up on other side of fan building the heat up..

I placed two flat wood ledges under the legs raising printer giving more clearance for airflow.

Also moved printer from sitting on wood shelf and placed a ceramic kitchen tile under it which the ceramic seems to do better on dissipating heat coming from printer

and fun begins ,this morning after 1litre of resin printed lcd dont work any more , i isolated him with kepton tape like suggested ,did not have any leaks just print finished overnight with nothing in or out of it ,when i did test on lcd nothing .... crap ... do we have any warranty on lcd or it's gone in to wind after 1 litre of resin ?
