Hello Guys,
So after 2 Months (bought on Sept 2 from Amazon) of using this wonderful Printer, the LCD screen finally croaked, not sure why though, I don’t think I reached 20 prints on it (fails and successes combined), anyway..
Seems it's a case of Frame shearing If I'm not mistaken (pics posted)
The print that failed was Artisan's guild free Bugbear Stl, which I printed once before successfully, this one printed 90% of the way until it failed on the spiked club and left that weird drag across the FEP.
LCD test is now a double rectangle. (ss attached) Tried this using 2 different USB sticks: Better Anycubic Photon LCD tester both fail miserably (ss + video attached) Dry printed a test Cube, safe to say it didn't work (ss + video)
Ordered and Elegoo Mars LCD screen from Amazon just in case I can't get this one working again, doesn’t hurt to have a replacement.
I'm currently running Firmware V4.2.12_LCDM.0 / 1440x2500 /F2.7
I'm a bit reluctant to upgrade the firmware since I know that can cause more issues rather than fix the problems, other things I'm thinking of doing before upgrading the FW is taking it apart and cleaning everything with IPA & detaching / reattaching the LCD screen.
Anything else I can try?
Is the screen still under warranty? AFAIK it's supposed to be 90 days, not sure though :/

I'm having a weird problem where the supports aren't starting on the raft. I though my build plate was shifting so I cleaned the whole thing but it didn't seem to help at all. I'm using Siraya blu clear and I think the issue started when I started using it but I also hadn't printed in a while so it might be unrelated to the resin. I up the exposure a couple seconds and it seemed to help a bit. I

Has anybody tried using Fibreglass resin pigments in UV curing resin? Might be a way to change the colour from print to print by only buying white resin.

Hi guys, I need some help. A friend has asked me to design a fantasy type car that her little boy dreamed up, for Christmas. Only problem is I have no clue how to do that and I already said yes! So, what programs are easiest to get the hang of and does anyone here use an iPad app, something that hopefully doesn’t bankrupt me would be helpful! Thanks.

Making a bit of experiment, using Anycubic Skin with my potter friend.

-. So, I print this guy using Anycubic Skin resin. -. Then, my friend use a gypsum mixed with sand as the investment for casting.
-. The burn off temperature is around 900+ for 3 hours.
-. The investment can't hold the temperature, so it cracked.
-. Nevertheless, we tried to cast it using pewter. And it turned out quite well, tho. If the investment didn't cracked, it will turned out better.

Hi there!
I do not own a photon, but I'm posting this to try to solve this problem. Maybe someone here had a similar issue.
My printer is a phrozen shuffle xl. The fact is that I find resin residues on the fep after every print. I tried to change resin manufacturer, nothing. Changed fep with one by fepshop, nothing.
Exosure time for normal layers is 8 seconds, so I would exclude overexposure.
The residues also, sometimes, remain attached to the print itself, but they're so thin I can always remove them without leaving any sign.
These issues began with the fall. Maybe a change in temperatures causes resin to behave dirrefently. Maybe it's just caused by cold? At night here is 10 degrees so...

What do you think?
