My very first resin print (after 4 false starts with things not sticking to the build plate! I think I was underestimating the leveling process but eventually got it right). There's an error on one of the feet where it didn't print....I used auto supports and have since learned it's best to put them in manually so will try that next time!

I've been having success at .04 layer height and wanted to try .02. I calibrated resin for it but the first print delaminated so I brought it up a second and the next one came out okay but was still too small. The third I got all this resin stuck to the FEP, yet the print didn't fail. I've seen this before and I don't know what causes it. The last print (dark grey) was done at .04, I really can't see any more detail in the one at .02. I'm assuming that was caused by the resin curing in the FEP distorting the print. The model was smack in the middle of the build plate but the cured resin was around the model, not under it. This didn't happen on my second attempt and the only thing I changed from second to third was the scale. Anyone know what causes this?

Anyone know if there has been some work to reverse engineer the C-CAT tech Carima has used for their fast DLP printing? Having a DLP that can print fast would be amazing.

Working on a miniature model of the furnaces I work at work.....will have fix that bottom section with some epoxy sculpt or something like that but other than that....so far so good :)
