What’s the smallest support size you guys have success with that doesn’t have prints snap off. Been experimenting with supports in citubox and they seem to have less success on my machine than the default slicers even with the same settings.

Random pic of angel model I made forever ago that I try to print on every machine I have and rarely ever works because I never use enough supports ?

About the prints "clouding" when water curing — great big thanks to everyone who chipped in with advice. I've decided to do a little experiment based on what I was told to do. All the prints were washed in IPA in the ultrasonic cleaner for 10 min, and then:

(1) was air-cured

(2) was cured in IPA

(3) was cured in distilled water

(4) was washed with distilled water and soap first, then cured in distilled water

The resin is the one that came with Anycubic Photon S.

Curing in IPA has basically destroyed the part. It's also a fire risk, so no reason to do it whatsoever. Curing in distilled water makes no difference to curing in tap water. Same white deposit.

Washing the parts with soap makes things so much worse. The discoloration becomes more pervasive and takes on a bluish hue.

So at least for this resin, my take is that water curing doesn't work at all.

Does anyone know if a material that cures at 365nm would also cure on the 405nm LED array in the photon?

If not, is it possible to swap out the LED array for one that does the lower nm wavelength?

Everything comes out great but the side closest b to the bed where the support Conners. A whole big chunk is missing and it looks kinda " melted". Is this an issue of not enough supports?

Hey y'all,

I've been using nitrile gloves with my photon, but I'd prefer to have gloves that are reusable. Are there any gloves I could just use and then wash off / cure? I have seen some people mention butyl rubber gloves for this purpose. Willing to spend $50+ since it would allow me to stop buying nitrile gloves and throwing so many away.
