hive, I have a question regarding fep tension. I recently changed my film and I believe the bottle cap may have been 2 mm too short. after tensioning to the around 375hz the silver ring is still not below the blue groove in the vat. resulting in a gap between the fep and the LCD when I install the vat. should I continue to tighten the fep or is the going to end up being a do over?

I have a question about post-processing. I want to do a print of about 8 minis at once, but I find I am pretty slow to cut everything off before getting it under the UV. Here is my process on my single prints: Print -> Put in Isopropyl Alcohol Bath and rub off extra resin until it is not slimy feeling -> cut off supports -> UV light.

If I do it with 8 minis then I am thinking I should just leave the ones I am not working with in the IPA bath until I am ready to cut off the supports? Does anyone print multiple items at a time and if so what is your process to make sure things still come out great?

I just received my new photon and got 2 fail out of 2. I have leveled the bed meticoulosly but got nothing sticked on the plate. Photo attached. The only thing I noticed was that the home level is much higher from the lcd screen but has nothing to do with the z axis =0 as I read around. Resin here is the anycubic green, exposure time for base layer is 60 seconds and layer is 8 sec. Any help would be really appreciated.

to reduce the smell when the printer is printing. But it seems the Fan on the downside blow the smelly air out.

Had one failed print this morning, so cleaned LCD and FEP and im right back onto successful prints again. didnt have much time left so squeezed a little optimus prime out. ~Happy with the finish. you can tell the skull stand was the first one, and how much better it is to place supportson the back of figures. Thanks whoever suggested it. Starting to fine tune into the equipment now to my liking
