Photon turned up today. Followed the flint method of levelling the bed and I’ve kicked off the test job. Guess I’ll see in the morning if it’s worked

I tried my first print today (the photon cube model that comes in the memory stick) using maroon resin and it detached itself from the build plate at around 50% of the printing time. Does anybody know possible causes? The print time settings were the default ones and everything was clean and leveled.

Another beautiful print. Basepart of the Hellboy B.R.P.D badge (comic version). Modelled it 10 years or so ago. Centerpiece is printing now

Any Warhammer 40K players out there? Looking for a good place to find models, especially for Space Wolves. Thingiverse has a pretty limited selection. Thanks!

I know this sort of thing has been posted before, but I was already printing three of the same mini so I thought I would experiment and share my results. I tried 4 different methods of cleaning the prints (from left to right). Mini 1: IPA 99% only, Mini 2: Mr. Clean then IPA, Mini 3: Mr. Clean then hot water, Mini 4 (ground mite): Mr. Clean only. All 4 were left to dry overnight, cured, and then cleaned again with warm water/soap/toothbrush.

I think the results get worse from left to right. I notice when I use the Mr. Clean, it leaves a glossy finish on the minis and they are tacky to touch even after curing (the hot water eliminates most of the tackiness, but the glossiness stays behind). I do not own an ultrasonic cleaner, so I'm not sure if that would produce different results with the Mr. Clean. I think for translucent minis, this glossy finish could be desirable but it's not what I'm looking for with my Elegoo grey minis.

Since doing this experiment, I have stuck with the Mr. Clean then IPA method, because I find that it allows me to replace my IPA less frequently and smells better. What do you all use to clean your minis, and have you experienced and/or found a solution for the Mr. Clean glossiness? Should I buy an ultrasonic cleaner if I want to continue to use Mr. Clean?

Can someone help me? At the base appears these holes and are passed to the piece and do not know what it is? As you can see, there is standard support for all parts, but in the printout the hole appears. Do I have to sand the support base?
Alguem pode me ajudar? na base aparece estes furos e são repassados para a peça e não sei o que é? como podem ver, existe suporte padrão para todas as peças mas na impressão aparece o furo. Será que tenho de lixar a base de suporte?

So i got some new resin to try. 3D Resin Solutions Hero 3D resin. I thought i would use the Female Elven Barbarian from thingiverse. I used the Hero 3D blue and AnyCubic red for the test. I sized it to 32mm and printed it at 0.025 LH. So first i would like to say that i am not affiliated with either company and this is my own opinions. I truly love the blue color as it stays consistent through the model as where the red tends to lose its flare in some areas. The blue is a thicker resin and you don't get the bubbles that you get from the red so that makes for better printing but waiting a bit before starting the red does the same thing. The blue is harder to clean off after print due to the thickness and requires more attention which is not a problem and the red cleaned up nice. Both were cleaned with an ISO bath followed by soapy warm water. I find that both resins did a great job and i could tinker with the red to improve the clarity. So here is the results of my test. Please make your own opinions and try them out if you want. In my opinion winner goes to Hero 3D blue.
