Best settings for anycubic translucent resin? Also, any castable resin suggestion? Im printing jewelery at first but the goal is to print mechanical pieces like gears and aluminum molds.

Does anyone possibly know why this has occurred?

I’ve got to prints being built on the same bed both are exactly the same but the right leg and part of the trench coat of the model on the left hasn’t printed?

A question about miniature bases... do you all use the support to base option in your slicer? So the base of the mini is not on the printer's base... but is on supports?

My last batch of minis came out great... but there was some sort of issue with most of the bases being disconnected from the supports... so the bases of the minis are rounded a bit.

Or is this an issue with needing to level the printer again?

Sorry, I didn't take a picture to illustrate my mad rantings.

Just subscribed to the Artisan Guild patreon. I noticed alot of models are in multiple pieces or at least with seperate bases. Is there an accepted best method for attaching models to bases? To you use resin and curing or some other method such as gluing or pinning?

Anycubic Photon recieved, set up, and test print under way, 2% complete. Using elegoo grey and sliced with chitubox. Hope that doesn't mess anything up.

Guys I don't know if it's just me but I find that print with anycubic gray resin gives more problems in term of warping and deformation than trasparent green resin, I raised the print parts to 18mm to avoid warped pieces. I wanna know your experiences with these two resins maybe I can find where I do wrong

If you are looking for some great miniatures to print on your Photon, there are a ton of active Kickstarters going on right now. There is also one that has a couple of statues you can print.

Brains trust can you help guide me i have been getting odd blobs Of cured resin on prints and lines through the prints I’m using monocure rapid black with supports and the following settings:
Layer height 0.04
Bottom layers 8
Bottom layer exposure of 60
Layer exposure at 14s
