Trying my first ever print with the photon. It's just a normal size D6 but it is 25% done and the platform has not ever came out of the resin yet. Should it have by now?

Okay here's a new one this just started happening I've been moving the part around on the build plate to see if it goes away but so far it has not. I'm showing you the vet is perfectly clean and how it is that I have the support on it in case you have questions but my question is how do I get what looks like a run down the side to stop from happening. It looks like resin that runs down the side and hardens but it is not that is the way it is printing. Anyone ever had this kind of flaw in the print and gotten rid of it?

Hey all...i just looked closesly at the Fep while printing with the Photon S (latest FW) and realized that the "exposure off time" settings doesn't take the travel time of the platform between each layers into account..my the platform takes 6 seconds to raise and go back down into the fep ... with the 6.5 secs exposure off, the actual off time is 12,5 sec..are the extra 6.5 secs needed to let the lcd cool down, or i can set it to 1 secs and save on print time? Thx in advance for your help

I’ve had prints fail where the printer crashes and restarts on the 2nd later. I’ve had 2 prints fail this way. One of which I attempted twice and failed the exact same way.

Any advice and help is appreciated!

I get great results with anycubic green resin but the grey is just too watery and doesn't seem to stick, no matter what the settings are. I might just have a bad batch, but looking for something a little more reliable? Any of you guys have a specfic make resin you use for the anycubic printer?

Cheers!

I'm on about week 4 of Photon downtime. First the LCD sprouted dark spots and had to be replaced. After I swapped in the new one, the front screen didn't respond to touch. I think I probably pinched the cable when putting the case back together & went to Anycubic's site to look for a replacement cable, but they didn't list one. I opened a support ticket to ask if a cable could be purchased separate from the touch screen assembly, and they were nice enough to send me a replacement cable and screen even though I specifically stated the problem was of my own making.

So the new parts arrived today and I started off by swapping out the cable.

No display at all.

Swapped out the front screen.

No display at all.

Tried the old cable on both displays.

Nothing.

I'm not sure what's going on at this point. The mainboard still beeps when it's powered on, so there's _something_ going on there, but I'm not really sure what to try next.
